Back in October we announced the formation of the Southwest Fox Ambassador Fund.

On January 3rd our dear friend Ceil Silver passed away after an extended battle with Melanoma. You can read some terrific writing by Ceil as she chronicled her battle with cancer on her blog “Too Much Me.” You can also read a wonderful message from her daughters after her passing too.

Today I am officially announcing a name change with her daughters’ permission. The Southwest Fox Ambassador Fund is now officially renamed:

The Ceil Silver Ambassador Fund

We all miss Ceil.

What a great thing to do. Ceil was a wonderful person, giving to the community, and this is a wonderful way to remember her.

I’m thrilled to see the fund renamed after Ceil. What a perfect way to honor the fact that she gave so much to so many. She touched everyone that she met!
