(Watch the <a href=\"http:\/\/swfox.net\/news.aspx\">News<\/a> page.) As we&#8217;ve done in <a href=\"https:\/\/swfox.net\/blog\/2015\/12\/what-do-you-want-to-learn-in-2016\/\">the past<\/a>, we want to offer prospective speakers ideas for welcome topics. The list below comes from both the evaluations filled in by 2016 attendees and a survey we did recently. Please add your thoughts,both on these topics and on what&#8217;s missing, in the comments to this post.<\/p>\n<p>First, the list from the 2016 evaluations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>UI<\/li>\n<li>VFP in cloud<\/li>\n<li>Computer\/network security (general session)<\/li>\n<li>REST API with VFP<\/li>\n<li> oAuth with VFP<\/li>\n<li>Reporting sessions<\/li>\n<li>Disaster recovery<\/li>\n<li>Case studies<\/li>\n<li>Error handling<\/li>\n<li>Advanced SQL Server<\/li>\n<li>Business development, marketing, advertising, sales, customer service<\/li>\n<li>Web technologies (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), Client side web development &#8211; JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, JSON, etc., Web services<\/li>\n<li>.NET technologies (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)<\/li>\n<li>Mobile technologies (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)<\/li>\n<li>64-bit VFP compiler<\/li>\n<li>Building applications to run as a service and building complimentary UI based apps to interact with and\/or control that service&#8217;s behavior.<\/li>\n<li>Upsizing applications<\/li>\n<li>VFPX bonus session<\/li>\n<li>Q &amp; A session<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now, the additional topics mentioned in our SurveyMonkey survey:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>More of the Xbase++ from the FoxPro perspective (like Alec Gagne gave in 2016)<\/li>\n<li>Refactoring (to Xbase++)<\/li>\n<li>A overview of web development &#8211; MVC, ASP, Angular, JSON, etc. what is each.<\/li>\n<li>Business Intelligence<\/li>\n<li>Remote Desktop<\/li>\n<li>CXP within Web Technologies<\/li>\n<li>DBF corruption causes and avoidance<\/li>\n<li>Migration Ideas and Case Studies &#8211; Going from VFP to cloud and\/or mobile<\/li>\n<li>Non .NET approaches to replace Visual FoxPro<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Foxpro is _NOT_ dead!&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Foxpro and AngularJS<\/li>\n<li>Who earns a lot of money these days WITH FoxPRO, and how they do it<\/li>\n<li>Stupid mistakes with VFP you probably don&#8217;t know you&#8217;re making<\/li>\n<li>Reporting through XBASE ++<\/li>\n<li>Creation of forms in XBase ++<\/li>\n<li>What&#8217;s broken in VFP?
