{"id":477,"date":"2020-11-06T13:13:24","date_gmt":"2020-11-06T20:13:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/swfox.net\/blog\/?p=477"},"modified":"2020-11-06T13:13:26","modified_gmt":"2020-11-06T20:13:26","slug":"vff-2020-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swfox.net\/blog\/2020\/11\/vff-2020-updates\/","title":{"rendered":"VFF 2020 Updates"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Here are some follow-up notes about <a href=\"https:\/\/virtualfoxfest.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Virtual Fox Fest 2020<\/a>, the first but likely not the last online event hosted by Geek Gatherings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Videos for all presentations are now available on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCsLb2rL3ALQW9g5r-qqf_jA\/videos\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube<\/a> for free to everyone, as our contribution to the VFP community. Be sure to subscribe to our channel.<\/li><li>We&#8217;ve added the Chat logs from all the live sessions to the session materials, because our attendees added a tremendous amount of information and value. <\/li><li>If you didn&#8217;t attend Virtual Fox Fest and want materials (white papers and sample code) for the presentations, go to\u00a0 <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/geekgatherings.com\/Registration\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/geekgatherings.com\/Registration<\/a>\u00a0and  &#8220;register&#8221; for the conference. You&#8217;re not really registering since it&#8217;s over, but in the Registration Fees section of the registration page,  you&#8217;ll see &#8220;Virtual Fox Fest 2020 Session Materials (download)&#8221;. The  cost of the materials is $49. There&#8217;s also an opportunity to sponsor  Virtual Fox Fest, which means your name will be listed on our <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/virtualfoxfest.com\/sponsors.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Sponsors page<\/a>.<\/li><li>We&#8217;re  planning on doing a survey soon. It&#8217;ll be sent to all attendees but if  you want to participate so you can help shape future events, email <a href=\"mailto:info@geekgatherings.com\">info@geekgatherings.com<\/a> and ask to be included.<\/li><li>We have tentative dates for an in-person <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.swfox.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Southwest Fox<\/a>  conference next year: October 14-17, 2021, at the same location as  previous years: the SanTan Conference Center in Gilbert, Arizona.
