Andrew R. MacNeill
Andrew MacNeill is owner of AKSEL, a company that has been offering development, writing and training services since 1998. He has been creating and enhancing innovative FoxPro solutions since 1991 for a wide number of companies. Andrew was one of the technical editors with FoxPro Advisor, authoring the popular ActiveX Control Showcase and highlighting the latest COM and ActiveX based tools. He has also written for several international magazines and has spoken at numerous conferences, including DevDays, FoxTeach, DevTeach, the dFPUG and the FoxPro Advisor Devcon. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional with specialties in VFP and SQL Server and has been awarded Microsoft's Most Valuable Professional, first in 1995 and 1996 and once again in 2005, 2006, 2007.
Andrew is also a partner with Micromega Systems, the authors of Foxfire!, the Windows and web-based report writing tool and a lead developer with Melton Technologies, a company specializing in transportation fleet management systems. He is the author of GENMENUX, a popular public domain menu enhancer for FoxPro and one of the project leads for CodeAnalyst tool, an open-source project on VFPX.
Andrew is also the host of the FoxShow, a podcast featuring the latest FoxPro news and interviews with the movers and shakers from the community.
