Servoy is the Next Generation development and deployment platform for FoxPro ISVs, corporate organizations and developers who are looking to develop Cloud, mobile, or on-premise software applications.
After Microsoft discontinued VFP, and ended support over a year ago, many businesses adopted Servoy to successfully enhance or migrate their VFP applications. The primary reasons for this are that Servoy has many similarities to VFP, it is easy to learn for FoxPro developers, and it is considered by many as the product into which VFP should have evolved. Servoy has been evolving as a powerful cross-platform development tool over the past 10 years and it offers training, consulting, and project management to assist customers with projects, and there is an excellent expanding Servoy community similar to that of FoxPro in the 90’s.
Stop by the Servoy booth and ask for a free USB stick with software, documentation, whitepapers, tutorials, and be sure to attend our special demo-centric vendor session led by Ken Levy, former Microsoft FoxPro Product Manager. Since he left Microsoft a few years ago, he has spent the majority of his time using Servoy in his own business, and consulting with companies who have a background in VFP and who are interested in evaluating or using Servoy.

Your current data can now be accessed by mobile workers without having to change the application currently used by the office workers. Your VFP application's life span can grow... we can show you how to do it.
Friday, October 28, 11:30-12:45 Saturday, October 29, 11:30-12:45

Title: Project PolarFox, the next generation Visual FoxPro Presenter: Steffen F. Pirsig Level: Beginner
Thursday, October 27, 5:15-6:30
In this session we will talk about our release plans for PolarFox, the next generation Visual FoxPro. Attendees will get detailed information about how Alaska Software sees the future for the Visual FoxPro developer in terms of:
See how PolarFox loads existing VFP Forms, automatically transforms them into native Win32 multithreaded applications. See how PolarFox makes it a snap to run your Visual FoxPro form on iPad or Android devices as an HTML/Ajax web solution.
To begin leveraging your existing VFP knowledge to develop web and connected mobile applications, do not miss our <CXP:Now/> session!
Title: <CXP:Now/> Presenter: Steffen F. Pirsig Level: Beginner
Saturday, October 29, 10:00-11:15
This session is for any Visual FoxPro developer who wants to leverage existing knowledge to develop web applications or connected mobile applications now! If you have already attended the "Visual FoxPro and Xbase++, a comparison" session, you know how similar Xbase++ and VFP are as a language. You also have learned that Alaska Software currently invests into the PolarFox project to create a solid successor for Visual FoxPro. This session is about the first milestone towards that vision.
<CXP/> is a new technology from Alaska Software using the Xbase++ 2.0 compiler technology as a service. This way, native web pages for high performance, high security web sites can be created in a way similar to PHP or other scripting languages for the Web. <CXP/> pages in general have a much lower error rate due to the underlying compiler technology and the more than 250 build-time error messages.
See what the underlying <CXP:InfraStructure/> already does for you to make web and mobile application development easier. Learn how to develop web applications with an appealing UI using JQuery and <CXP/>.
Attendees of this session will be prepared for November 10th, the launch date of the first community technology preview on our route towards PolarFox.
