    This session gives you an overview of the XSharp (X#) compiler and shows you Visual FoxPro code running in Visual Studio with the help of X#. We will also show you some new language features that are at your disposal after migrating your code to X# and .Net.

    The X# support for Visual FoxPro is not completely finished. We will therefore show you what works and what doesn't work. And we would also like to hear from you, what do you need for your Visual FoxPro applications after they are ported to .Net.

    You will learn / see:

    • What X# is
    • Why X# was created
    • What the level of VFP support in X# is at this moment
    • Visual FoxPro code running in inside Visual Studio
    • Some of the new language features that are available in X#
    • That X# is developed by developers for developers. You can help set the direction where X# goes.

    Python is an interpreted, high-level, general-purpose programming language with a design philosophy emphasizing code readability. Python has become the most popular language for Machine Learning (MI) and Artificial intelligence (AI).

    In this session participants will see how to leverage your 20+ years of data within your current VFP application with Python models to enable predictive modeling.

    Imran serves as Macrosoft's Migration Director. With more than two decades of industry experience, Imran continues to demonstrate his ability to ensure seamless migrations. Imran works with Project Managers, sales/strategy teams, and clients to ensure the successful migration of legacy applications. Moreover, Imran exhibits effective communication skills and an eye for quality service.

    As a Microsoft Certified and PMI Project Management Professional, Imran can migrate a myriad of difficult technologies. Most recently, he migrated a VFP legacy application which communicated to networking equipment. Testing the application without detailed knowledge of the domain was the real challenge.
